Lou, that really sucks to hear the NFL pretty much come out and tell the Giants the refs f**ked up. Would have been nice to see that kicker get a chance to redeem himself. That commentator made a good point though, all the holder had to do was spike the ball once they botched the snap and they would still have had 3 seconds left to have another go at it. I guess with all that was going on it would have been easy for Fassel to overlook telling the holder that though. I hope Owens gets rocked next week.

I took the year off and I laid down a lot on Ohio St. and I've been on a roll ever since. Looks like everyone had a good day in basketball today, won huge with Indiana, Toronto, Nets, and the over on the nets game, lost on the celtics game but I took Wsh at the half so I covered there. Thanks Jonny. Will note your lean, but more important is someone identifying these games so I can track them. I track everyone else, might as well track this. Might be interesting theory. After all, who really wants to lay $ on Memphis, even though they're at home, getting only 1.5 or 2? People may want to, but they're afraid. I try to remember that Vegas is a lot smarter than the best of us, and that makes them waaaaay smarter than me. BTW, there were many games early in the season where I picked a sh*t team at home, and most of you went the other way. Similar circumstances, sh*t team at home against a stronger team, with a low line. I picked them because I didn't know any better, and therefore had no fear. The more I learn, the harder it is to pick those shitty home teams with short points. Vegas is pretty smart, aren't they?

Reidpipe: Actually if Allen spikes the ball in that situation the game would've been over. You can only spike the ball if it's a direct snap from the center. This year we are doing contests with entrance fees and then the top winners split the pot!
Top prize in the current one is $330 for first, $140 for second place and $80 bucks for third place. Entrance fee was $25 bucks each. Hopefully we will get more people to participate for the 2nd half NBA contest.
