Portland is 8-7, SF is 5-9 , but San Fran's top player Tucker who leads the team in PPG and Rebounding is definitely out tonight according to several websites I've checked. If anyone knows a bit about this conf. feel free to speak up, I may be wrong but Porland +8 isn't looking like too bad of a pick right now along with Gonzaga.

3 guys whose picks I play were divided last night on the Seatle/ Utah game. I had lost most of my earlier plays and was 1/2 drunk and I decided to go with Ronnie Lee's Utah POD and put 220 on Utah.
( that is what I was down for the day) I went to bed at halftime ( I was all drunk by then )thinking I had lost. I am glad I didn't watch the game, It would have given me heart failure.

just got in and i like what im seeing, minn 3 canucks 1 end of the 2nd period.

i dont know what kind of capping skills you people use but it seems hockey is a little easier to cap than other sports. in hockey, you get alot of value for your money, it seems every night there is a + ml that you can have a good chance with. if you look at my standings you can see my win /lost record isnt that great but my units are higher than my win/ loss record. also in hockey you have a good history of how teams play eachother. teams play 80 some games a year so you get a lot of match ups you can look at. and the 2 biggest factors that make hockey a little easier is hockey players play hard and the ref's dont seem to screw you. and finally since hockey isnt bet on as much as the other sports i feel theres less chance of something being "fixed" or vegas trying to trick you.

just my 2 cents, but its been a big money maker for me.

BONO: It's not that I don't care about anything but baskets. Winning wagers are winning wagers. I used to track NHL picks when I 1st started here. But as I added more & more players to my Bball board, tracking NHL picks became much more difficult. I did it for 3 weeks, up until mid-Dec. I had you, Hornet, Jonny, Shole, JoeToaster, Mully64, BigLou, Firegreen - about 17-18 in all. But I missed a couple days and then I never caught up again. I do pay attention to your picks, and I have played your FB picks. You are good. I always look for them on weekends, although I don't keep records. I know NOTHING about NHL, but I'd bet it if I could track you guys. I did play 2 games one night from Mully64's picks, and won them - only half units each, but still. Last time I went to a Flyers game Clarkie was the center, not the GM. Now that I'm cutting way, way back on my NCAA capping, I might try to get back to an NHL board. Keep up the good work. Ronnielee,wow +1' utah st. with local book,+3 with computer site.You should track computer line's, look for line move's call your bookie to see if he adjusted his line's yet he will be behind the computer line's because they do not get the line's as fast from vegas.Intersesting theory,i have guy's in nyc who play this way they pass on the line's that do not move hit the one's with the 1' difference or more that the local book has not changed yet.

TheGame: I did take the Denver under second half bet, but also played Utah -2 for second half so broke even. For a while there looked like Utah may lose outright but went on a good run to end the game. That is definitely a trend to follow up on though with a record like that. Here is another trend for you in hockey i've been playing quite a bit. The New Jersey Devils play a very defensive system and have one of the top goalies in the league, usually their O/U line is set at 5. Going back to start of December if you played the Under 5 for each game your record would be
13-5 with 4 pushes. Lately they've been scoring a lot but when a trend is over 65% I like to follow it.

My thanks for tonight. Ahh, it feels good to finally say that. I liked Portland & Phoenix tonight, and my bookie had no line on the Blazers. No one on the board had Port. anyway, so I used them as my POD (not bet) and bet 3 games. Phoenix was one. Thanks to Hoyas for Michigan. And thanks to BigLou for CalIrvine. Those 3 cut my weeks losses in half, and put me in much better position. I lost my NBA POD & won my 2nd straight CBB POD. But more importantly, I remembered that quite a few of you are better than me, and I should keep my opinions to minor plays, and cap the cappers for the real money. Thanks again!
