Had a 4-0 night in hockey posted pics as all the faves won handily, on a good little roll this week as that is ten straight correct NHL picks now. Unfortunately got my ••• handed to me in college ball and nba tonight so end up in the red again for the day. Nice call on the Clips today Barney (and for that matter the Rockets last night), I was one of the many "squares" on Sacramento and the Lake Show , and to tell you the truth I'd play the Kings over and over again giving 6 to the Clips, just too stubborn to bet against the top teams I guess.

I bet my 3 games as a 3-team parlay & a 3-team 8pt teaser, and each for only a half unit. So I'll lose only 1 unit on the whole mess (G.Mason forgot to show up). KEMME: Not sure I'm the best one to ask, and I cap in unorthodox way compared to better guys here. But here's what I see. Furman blows, even in context of Southern Conf. I see a bad team coming off of 2 excellent BTB Conf. efforts at home, a 1 pt loss to middle-of-the-pack Wofford & a 4 point win over even lousier W. Carolina. Difficult for bad teams to sustain good efforts 3 games in a row, especially when heading on the road. Davidson coming off 1st conf. loss to leauge leader Chattanooga, so focus should be there. Whether they'll cover double digits is another story, but they've done it plenty of times so far this season against similar trash. A small play seems in reason.

FWIW, last year Crieghton and Southern Illini played 3 times. One of the starters for Crieghton in those games was a T.Tayor who in the 2 losing games only scored 6 and 7 points. In the game they played last year in the NCAA tournament he scored 20. Taylor is gone now. I see SIU has a couple of bad road losers this year, but i think this line is to high.

Everyone else tends to agree with you, but my logic is Oakland would be favored at home against Tampa or Philly, and if Tennessee shows up in Oakland and wins, the gamblers will favor Tennessee in the Superbowl.

No matter where the oddsmakers set the line, we determine where it goes, especially in the Superbowl, they have to keep us divided evenly.

Well, a 2-0 night in hockey but a very frustarating 1-3 night in bball losing a couple close ones. I ended up on the wrong side of two games last night by half a point, and Grizz tonight as well at +5.5 You just know after fighting all that way to come back that they'd blow the cover in OT. I am going to start buying half a point now on all games I bet where the spread involves a .5 in it, just so I don't have to deal with the frustaration of losing by .5 anymore.
